Role Overview

The Wind Engineer will deliver Wind Measurement and Analysis services within the Engineering Team, CTO, and the wider business, demonstrating the ability to add value to opportunities in a highly competitive and evolving marketplace while maintaining appropriate Engineering and Quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of RFQ for met mast installation/decommissioning tenders
  • Evaluation of tender documents from suppliers to select preferred suppliers
  • Liaising with met mast suppliers
  • Organising and performing site surveys
  • Managing TSA and contracts with suppliers
  • Gathering required information and documents for planning applications of met masts

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in a relevant engineering, scientific, physics, or mathematical discipline; Chartered membership of an appropriate body is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in UK onshore/offshore Wind projects is REQUIRED!
  • Experience with Wind Assessment Software (Windographer, Windfarmer, OpenWind, or other fluid dynamics modelling software) and ArcGIS is a plus.
