Qualifications

• Essential: degree in Electrical Engineering (HNC/HND/BEng/BSc) or equivalent, or experience in industrial electrical engineering.
• Basic knowledge of PLC programming principles.
• Understanding of power conversion for wind turbine converters.
• Growth mindset and eagerness to learn in a fast-evolving tech field.

Responsibilities

• Designing, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and remotely diagnosing wind turbine converters and associated power equipment.
• Performing troubleshooting at site locations to diagnose problems and implement corrective actions.
• Utilizing internal software to write PLC/converter code using industry-standard function blocks.
• Marking up and reviewing AutoCAD and EPLAN drawings.
• Setting up hardware in a lab and demonstrating FATs to internal and external customers.
• Communicating project progress to the engineering management team.
