Job summary

Essex Wildlife Trust Ltd is seeking motivated Membership Recruiters to join our nationwide effort to defend nature. Represent your local Wildlife Trust at venues and events, inspiring monthly direct debit donations while enjoying a flexible part-time schedule.

You’ll work three days per week, including weekends and bank holidays, with full paid training, a quarterly bonus scheme, mileage contributions and a supportive back-office team to help you achieve strong earnings.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid driving licence and have access to a car/van (essential).
• Have the legal right to work in the UK (essential).
• Can work regular weekends and bank holidays.
• Are warm, friendly, confident and great at engaging with all types of people.
• Have strong communication skills, including spoken and written English.
• Are happy working outdoors in all weather and prefer the field to a desk.
• Are comfortable working toward realistic targets/KPIs.
• Uncapped commission, with fantastic earning potential.

Responsibilities

• As a Membership Recruiter, represent your local Wildlife Trust at pre-booked venues and events to inspire donations.
• Engage diverse audiences, work outdoors and be out and about in lively locations.
• Work three days per week at venues/events; weekends/bank holidays are busiest for meeting people.
• Help convert attendees into monthly direct debit supporters for nature conservation.
