Are you searching for the perfect part-time job?

How about working at the iconic Leighton Moss Nature Reserve? We’re looking for a Seasonal Fundraiser to join the team at the breathtaking Leighton Moss.

This role is ideal for someone who loves connecting with people and sharing their passion for nature.

You may have worked in roles that involved building face-to-face relationships, such as hospitality, customer service, sales, sustainability, conservation, campaigning, fundraising, business development, retail, or volunteering. However, it’s your transferable skills that matter most, as we’ll provide you with fantastic training and ongoing support to help you succeed. You do not need previous fundraising experience!

The ideal candidate will be close enough to Leighton Moss to commute daily.

Position Details

Position: Wildlife Fundraiser Leighton Moss

Location: Leighton Moss

Salary: £25,847.00 - £27,549.00 per annum

Duration: 4 Months

The Role

Leighton Moss is home to the largest reed bed in north-west England. This sweeping expanse provides shelter to a spectacular range of wildlife including Otters, Bearded Tits, Bitterns, Marsh Harriers, egrets and Red Deer.

Set against the shores of the nearby Morecambe Bay, this Lancashire nature reserve is a thriving visitor haven attracting people of all walks of life to explore its reedbeds, mudflats, coastal marsh and saltwater lagoons. Explore a bit further and you will also find pockets of woodland and limestone grasslands.

As part of the Leighton Moss team, you’ll work alongside dedicated staff and volunteers to welcome visitors, share the conservation importance of this iconic site, and inspire support for the organisation through fundraising and membership recruitment.
