Job summary

MPI has a vacancy for Aircraft Engineering Supervisors (Wildcat) to be based on-site at RNAS Yeovilton. You will manage airworthiness tasks and provide ground support for Wildcat aircraft, ensuring adherence to policies and safety standards.

Role includes potential shift work with additional pay; requires extensive airworthiness experience and a Supervisory-level competency. UK right to work is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of up to 6 years in an airworthiness environment with up to 2 years hands-on experience.
• Hold/able to hold Supervisory level Certificate of Competency.
• Formal training in Wildcat aircraft and trade systems.
• Experience with Wildcat Aircraft Engineering and Aircraft Systems.
• Experience with Servicing and Support Equipment.
• Understanding Lean Operating Procedures.
• Understanding Naval Air Publications and C-IETP.
• Adhere to HASAW, COSHH, Tool Control and Quality Practices.
• Understanding Engineering and Asset Management Systems.
• Maintenance Human Factors training completed or able to complete.
• Understand rotary wing military aviation procedures.
• Understanding Airworthiness Engineering Safety and Compliance per regulatory requirements (MAA).
• Able to work productively with initiative under tight timescales and pressure.
• Able to achieve SC clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee aircraft management and ground support for Wildcat aircraft.
• Ensure compliance with customer policy and regulations; raise issues with Team leads.
• Attend further training courses to develop skills and knowledge.
• Carry out administration duties as required.
• Option to undertake shift work with additional shift pay.
