Sonia Friedman Productions is seeking applications for an experienced WHAM Assistant to work on the London production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
Based on an original story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne, and John Tiffany, this new play by Jack Thorne received its world premiere in London's West End at the Palace Theatre in summer 2016. The critically acclaimed production is the most awarded West End play in Olivier Awards history, winning nine awards including Best New Play and Best Director in 2017.
Your duties will include those normally expected of a Wigs, Hair, and Make-up Assistant on a first-class West End production.
Previous experience in a similar role on large-scale productions is essential.
Skills required include excellent wig setting and dressing, makeup application (including character, fashion, and prosthetics).
Experience in styling Afro-textured hair and gents' hair styling is highly desirable.
