Widening Participation Officer (Mature Students)

Salary on appointment will be £31,236 per annum, with an annual increment up to £37,694 per annum.

The Widening Participation Officer (Mature Students) role is responsible for engaging with prospective mature learners considering higher education and supporting current mature students at UEA to support with sense of belonging, and overall student experience. The post formally sits within the Recruitment and Outreach Department, which forms part of the Admissions, Recruitment and Marketing service. The role is split across two areas: 0.6 FTE within Outreach, managed by the Post 16 Outreach Manager, and 0.4 FTE within Student Academic Services, supported by the Head of Widening Participation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding and knowledge of the Widening Participation agenda. You must be experienced in project management and in the delivery of presentations. Experience of maintaining and developing relationships is essential.

This full-time post is available immediately on a fixed-term basis until 31 July 2027.
