Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking a Safety Technician to assess risks, monitor site safety, and report on safety metrics across our facilities. You will work with Operations and other teams to implement effective safety measures and respond to potential issues before they arise.

The role focuses on hands-on site safety, data collection, and collaboration with colleagues to uphold Amazon's safety standards and regulatory compliance. Comprehensive training will be provided.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH certification required or preferred
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent safety qualification
• Advanced data analysis and metrics reporting skills
• Knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation and compliance

Responsibilities

• Carry out risk assessments and audits
• Monitor site to ensure processes follow safety procedures
• Create and update safety metrics reports for colleagues
• Collaborate with Operations and other teams on safety-related tasks
• Assist in implementing new safety measures
