Greater Manchester / North West
Hybrid working: main office a couple of days per week, home working and customer travel
30,000 - 35,000 basic salary + company car + bonus scheme
A well-established brand and food manufacturing business is looking for a Wholesale Executive to support growth across its wholesale and wider B2B customer base.
This is a commercial sales role with a clear focus on winning new customers, developing existing accounts and moving opportunities from first conversation through to successful launch.
You’ll be part of an established wholesale team, working closely with internal teams to make sure proposals are commercially sound, operationally deliverable and properly followed through.
It would suit someone who enjoys both sides of sales: getting in front of customers, building pipeline and closing opportunities, while also being organised enough to manage CRM, forecasts, pricing conversations and internal coordination properly.
You’ll need a track record in B2B sales, business development or account management, with evidence of turning opportunities into revenue.
Experience in food, bakery, FMCG, foodservice, wholesale or another product-led environment would be useful, but the key requirement is a strong commercial approach and the ability to build credible customer relationships.
You should be comfortable discussing customer needs, product options, pricing and commercial terms, while staying organised across multiple leads, accounts and internal stakeholders.
A full UK driving licence is required, as regular customer travel is part of the role.
This is a good opportunity to join a long-established food business with a strong regional reputation, a broad product range and a clear focus on growing its wholesale and B2B presence.
You’ll have a role where your activity directly influences new customer wins, account growth and commercial delivery, rather than sitting too far away from the results.
The role offers a balanced mix of customer-facing sales, account development, internal collaboration and practical commercial follow-through.
