Wholesale and Retail Merchandiser - Mat Cover 7month FTC

As a Wholesale and Retail Merchandiser at Rapha, you will be responsible for managing stocks across the Clubhouse and Wholesale network.

Retail responsibilities include:

  • Working with Finance to set budgets and weekly sales targets for all Clubhouses.
  • Planning seasonal targets at department/collection/category levels to build out grading.
  • Delivering a robust seasonal grading across the global network of Clubhouses.
  • Reviewing and improving the grading and ranging process for efficiency.
  • Managing sales and promotional plans to meet targets while minimizing terminal stock.
  • Planning stock for major events in the Clubhouse calendar, collaborating with regional teams.
  • Agreeing on stock cover levels with the allocator to maintain appropriate stock throughout the season.
  • Participating in range review meetings with regional feedback and analysis.
  • Managing stock planning for Clubhouse openings or relocations.
  • Collaborating with logistics to deliver accurate seasonal allocation forecasts.
  • Producing weekly sales analysis for Clubhouses with insights and recommendations.
  • Reviewing stock performance at Clubhouse level to identify opportunities.
  • Driving space productivity and working with VM to maximize potential.
  • Visiting Clubhouses during the season to optimize space and opportunities.

Wholesale responsibilities include:

  • Aligning revenue targets with inventory planning with wholesale sales managers.
  • Ensuring accurate delivery dates, pricing, and margins to maximize revenue and profit.
  • Working with merchandise to deliver forecasts for wholesale partner buys.
  • Managing regional size bias and hemispheric requirements.
  • Analyzing sales performance to tailor future ranges.
  • Reporting on stock levels, risks, and future intake.
  • Developing pricing structures considering duty, shipping, and COGS for different markets.
  • Tracking progress against wholesale objectives and deliverables.
  • Collaborating with Wholesale Operations and finance teams.
  • Developing range plans to meet revenue and sell-through targets.
  • Agreeing on tiered range packs aligned with product strategy.

The Candidate should:

  • Have experience in multi-channel merchandising, understanding retail and wholesale.
  • Be capable of leading and managing an allocator.
  • Be analytical and numerically skilled.
  • Possess high proficiency in Excel.
  • Have a commercial and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills and attention to detail.
