We currently have an opportunity for a Wholesale and Metering Administrator based in Bournemouth. Joining us on a full-time permanent basis, you will receive a competitive salary of £26,299 per annum plus excellent benefits.

About the role

As our Wholesale & Metering Administrator, you will enhance our customers' meter reading and wholesale experience. Reporting to the Wholesale and Metering Team Leader, you will ensure our systems are up to date and provide feedback and resolutions to our customers.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Ensuring updates to our systems are completed and providing feedback and resolution to our customers.
  • Building relationships with external parties and ensuring SLA compliance.
  • Maximising the number of meter reads received through planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Investigating accounts without meter readings and coordinating with internal and external parties to ensure readings are collected.
  • Resolving issues from incorrect meter readings promptly and liaising with meter read contractors, the billing team, and other stakeholders to resolve queries.

What we are looking for:

  • Educated to GCSE grade A-C or equivalent in English and Maths.
  • Experience in a Billing or Customer Contact environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Clear and concise communication skills.
  • Customer awareness, including geographical understanding.
