Job summary

Burch Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a valued client for experienced White Goods Installers to join a growing team at the Oxford depot. You will deliver and install white goods directly to customer homes, working in a two‑person crew and starting early from our Oxford base.

The role requires proven installation experience, strong customer service skills, and physical fitness. Flexible availability up to six days a week is required, with pay of £13.20 per hour and a two‑week holdback

• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items safely.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and install white goods directly to customer homes.
• Unpack, position and complete full installations (washing machines, dishwashers, ovens, fridges).
• Work alongside a colleague as part of a two‑person crew.
• Start from the Oxford depot and complete routes within a 9‑hour shift.
• Ensure safe and correct installation of all appliances.

Burch Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our valued client, a well-established same-day delivery and installation company, for experienced and reliable White Goods Installers to join their growing team.

We currently have both full-time and part-time positions available. Weekly payments with an initial two week holdback when starting. Thereafter payments are made weekly (from April) with up to 6 working days per week opportunity (including weekends), depending on operational demands and the opportunity to be part of a friendly, professional two-person crew delivering excellent service to customers.

About the Role:

You’ll be delivering and installing white goods directly to customer homes from a depot based in the Oxford. The role involves carrying goods into the home, unpacking, positioning, and performing full installations (e.g., connecting washing machines, dishwashers, ovens, or refrigerators). You’ll work alongside a colleague as part of a two-person installation team.

Requirements:

• Proven experience installing white goods in customer homes
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Basic DIY or trade skills (e.g., using drills, screwdrivers, wrenches, and hand tools)
• Physically fit and confident lifting heavy items safely
• Reliable and punctual, with a professional attitude
• Carrying, unpacking, and installing white goods in customers’ homes (room of choice)
  Flexible availability for up to 6 days per week, as part of a 7-day operation

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Early starts from our Oxford depot
• Pay Rate: £13.20 per hour
• Carrying, unpacking, and installing white goods in customers’ homes
• Ensuring safe and correct installation of all appliances
• Working as part of a two-person team
• Completing your route typically within a 9-hour shift
• Start times: between 07:00 and 09:00, subject to operational requirements

Please Note: Pay will be issued two weeks after the work has been completed. Payments will then continue weekly, maintaining a two-week delay between work completed and payment received.
