Job summary

Burch Recruitment, on behalf of our client, is seeking experienced White Goods Installers in Luton. You will deliver, install and connect appliances in customers’ homes as part of a two-person team from a local depot. Regular early starts, up to six days per week, with a pay rate of £13.20 per hour.

Starting duties include lifting, unpacking and safe installation, with a 9-hour typical route. Two-week holdback applies before first payment; weekly payments thereafter.

Qualifications

• Proven experience installing white goods in customer homes.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic DIY or trade skills using drills, screwdrivers, wrenches, and hand tools.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items safely.
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.
• Willing to work up to 6 days per week as part of a 7-day operation.

Responsibilities

• Early starts from our Luton depot.
• Carrying, unpacking, and installing white goods in customers' homes.
• Ensuring safe and correct installation of all appliances.

Burch Recruitmentis recruiting on behalf of our valued client, a well-established same-day delivery and installation company, forexperienced and reliable White Goods Installersto join their growing team.

We currently have both full-time and part-time positions available.Weeklypaymentswithaninitialtwo weekholdbackwhenstarting.Thereafterpaymentsaremadeweekly (fromApril)withup to 6 working days per week opportunity (including weekends), depending on operational demandsand the opportunity to be part of a friendly, professional two-person crew delivering excellent service to customers.

About the Role:

You’ll be delivering and installing white goods directly to customer homes from a depot based in theLuton.The role involves carrying goods into the home, unpacking, positioning, and performingfull installations(e.g., connecting washing machines, dishwashers, ovens, or refrigerators). You’ll work alongside a colleague as part of atwo-person installation team.

Requirements:

• Provenexperience installing white goodsin customer homes
• Strongcustomer service and communication skills
• BasicDIY or trade skills(e.g., using drills, screwdrivers, wrenches, and hand tools)
• Physically fit and confident lifting heavy items safely
• Reliable and punctual, with aprofessional attitude
• Carrying, unpacking, and installing white goods in customers’ homes (room of choice)
  Flexible availability for up to 6 days per week, as part of a 7-day operation

Home delivery experience is preferred but not essential

Please Note: Pay will be issued two weeks after the work has been completed. Payments will then continue weekly, maintaining a two-week delay between work completed and payment received.
