We’re more than just an energy company. We are a family of brands revolutionising how we power the planet. We're energisers, one team of 21,000 colleagues energising a greener, fairer future by creating an energy system that doesn’t rely on fossil fuels, while living our commitment to positive change in communities. Here, you can find more purpose, passion, and potential. That’s why working here is #MoreThanACareer. We do energy differently — we make it, store it, move it, sell it, and mend it.
About your team:
At British Gas, our mission is to sell it and mend it.
We’ve powered the UK’s homes and businesses for over 200 years. But supplying energy is just part of what we do. We’re making the UK greener and more energy efficient, moving closer to Net Zero. Using smart tech like thermostats, heat pumps, solar panels, and EV chargers, we’re helping customers reduce their carbon footprint more affordably and easily.
About your role:
We need White Goods engineers to join our team of experienced engineers. You will ensure our customers receive help when they need it, playing a pivotal role in our British Gas Service Promise of same-day fixes.
Base salary is £41,104, with uncapped OTE — £46,000 is a realistic expectation through our field reward scheme. London Weighting applies where applicable.
We’ll give you £5,000 to make the jump! Yes, you read that right. We’re serious about achieving our goal of making the UK Net Zero by 2050. To do that, we’re hiring the best and offering a £5,000 sign-on bonus.
Customer support is our priority. You will attend customers' homes to repair and maintain white goods and appliances. You’ll have support from managers, mentors, and colleagues. Some jobs can be challenging, so a minimum of 2 years of on-the-job experience is required to handle most tasks.
Here's what we’re looking for:
