White-Collar Crime Paralegal

Larbey Evans is working with an award-winning US law firm to recruit a Paralegal to join their White-Collar Crime team in their London office on a permanent basis.

  • Salary up to £51,500
  • Working hours: 09:30-17:30 with hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days remote)

This role offers hands-on experience in a high-caliber legal environment, focusing on document preparation, coordination, production, distribution, and legal research.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct cite checks, Shepardize, and proofread briefs, memoranda of law, opinions, and other legal documents.
  • Analyze constitutional documents, prepare statutory declarations, and draft ancillary documents such as board minutes, director resignation letters, and stock transfer forms.
  • Proofread and edit documents including loan note registers, subscription documents, and share certificates.
  • Assist in the preparation of legal documents.
  • Perform non-legal research using tools like Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER, and other court-related websites for case law, statutes, articles, and books.
Skills & Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of experience in a law firm in a similar paralegal role.
  • Law Degree or Graduate Diploma in Law or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in navigating electronic databases and research tools such as Westlaw UK, Lexis Library, Practical Law, company registries, and court-related websites.
