We are currently seeking applications from GDC registered qualified dental nurses to join our Dental Team at Barts Health NHS trust.
We are currently recruiting for a Qualified Dental Nurse to join our Dental services at Whipps Cross Hospital clinic. This role forms part of our OMFS/ Oral Surgery Dental Departments based at Whipps Cross Hospital.
Our Dental service is formed of a multidisciplinary team which provides a range of dental treatment to our patients, including delivery of care using conscious sedation. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with a range of staff including consultants, specialist dentists, and post-graduate students.
In becoming a Barts Health Dental Nurse you will be joining an organisation in which safe and compassionate care is at the heart of what we do, and that includes our staff. We have numerous staff benefits as well as providing subscription to a training package which supports our Dental Nurses in completing their annual GDC eCPD.
Candidates must hold a Dental Nursing qualification and have a good level of experience working as a Qualified Dental Nurse. Registration with the GDC is mandatory.
Previous experience of working within a Dental Hospital or similar setting is desirable. A post qualification in Conscious Sedation Dental Nursing or keen interest to undergo training would be an advantage.

The qualified dental nurse is an integral member of the dental team. They play an important role in the provision of dental services and the effective operation of the dental institute and outreach facilities.
