Reliable Contractors Limited is recruiting for a Wheeled Loading Shovel operator for a major HS2 infrastructure project based in and around Birmingham. The role requires moving between sites as needed on a PAYE basis, with 30 days of paid holidays and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CPCS Blue Card and be trained to operate a loading shovel.
• Proven experience operating a loading shovel on construction sites.
• Ability to drive and operate a loading shovel across varied terrain safely.
• Ability to carry out pre-start checks and ensure machine safety.
• Good awareness of site activities and surroundings.
• Full UK driving licence and own transport.

Responsibilities

• Move between sites across Birmingham and surrounding areas as required.
• Operate the loading shovel safely and efficiently on site.
• Carry out pre-start checks and report any faults.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and adhere to site safety rules.
