Job summary

Cornerstone Community Care in Aberdeen City is looking for a Support Worker to assist a pleasant young Mum who uses an ambulant wheelchair. The role involves helping her with appointments, loading the wheelchair, and providing support during social events such as concerts and festivals.

This position requires good communication skills to manage emails and medication reminders, with no direct caretaking of children involved. A PVG and two references are essential.

Qualifications

• Able to assist with loading and unloading a wheelchair.
• Good communication skills to help understand and respond to written information.
• Experience or comfort working with children who have ADHD and Autism.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lady with attending appointments and social events.
• Help at mealtimes and with medication prompts.
• Support in managing emails, post, and details of appointments.
