Job summary

Reed is seeking a skilled Wetroom Fitter to join our team on a temporary basis in Bolton. The role covers all aspects of multi-skilled plumbing work in council homes and public buildings managed by Bury Council, with a 37-hour week and 8am starts.

You will remove existing bathrooms, fit level deck trays, plaster, tile up to 10 sqm, carry out plumbing and other trades, and maintain safety and documentation using PDA's or iPad. A valid driving license and own vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Wetroom Fitter or similar role.
• Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment.
• Willingness to follow all safety guidelines at all times.
• Strong understanding of construction procedures and material management.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license and own a vehicle.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Remove existing bathrooms and alter all pipework as necessary.
• Fit level deck trays to both wood and concrete floors.
• Perform patch plastering and Dot & Dab to walls.
• Conduct minor joinery tasks.
• Tile areas up to 10sqm to a high standard.
• Carry out floor screening.
• Drive to various sites, requiring the use of your own vehicle.
• Undertake all plumbing and relevant multi-skilled works as directed.
• Operate and maintain all issued plant and equipment according to safety guidelines.
• Use IT systems (PDA's or iPad) to update documentation accurately and in real time.
• Adhere to Bury Council's Health and Safety Policies and ensure compliance with risk assessments.
