Job summary

Cole & Yates Ltd is recruiting a Wetpour Mixer / Surfacing Operative to join a practical outdoor team delivering high-quality surfacing projects across the UK. The role is based south of Solihull and involves travel to project sites with a focus on safety and teamwork.

You will mix rubber granules and binder, move materials, and assist with pouring, levelling and finishing. The position offers a long-term PAYE contract and opportunities to develop in a specialist trade.

Qualifications

• Experience in practical outdoor surfacing or related trades.
• Willingness to travel across the UK and stay away when needed.
• Comfort with mixing rubber granules and binder on-site.
• Ability to load/unload and move tools safely.
• CSCS card and full UK driving licence appreciated but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Wetpour Installation Team Leader and Screeder on UK projects.
• Measure and mix rubber granules and binder using forced-action or pan mixers.
• Load, unload, move and prepare tools and materials.
• Support screeders during pouring, levelling, trowelling and finishing.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean and organised.
