These are exciting times for our Children and Young People Mental Health (CYPMH) services as we transform and enhance our services for young people across our County, and we are seeking applications from exceptional managers with a clinical background and operational experience in mental health, to lead CYP West.
The Operational Manager will work alongside an experienced and supportive Quadrant Leadership Team to oversee operational processes within the team and ensure high quality care is provided in a timely manner. They will work closely with the other three Operational Managers and the Service Manager as we work to standardise care across the county. This will be well supported a 12 month fixed term contract or secondment initially.
This role provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced CYP clinician who is seeking a development opportunity to extend their operational skills and experience.

The post holder is responsible for the allocation, deployment, prioritisation and delivery of services, for implementing and reviewing systems, policies, standards and procedures that ensure the provision of high quality services within frameworks agreed by the Trust.

The Operational Manager will have a mental health background with demonstrated achievements in operational leadership. They will have the ability to lead by example, motivate and empower others and will play a fundamental role in ensuring effective outcomes and high quality care for those using CYPMHS services in Hertfordshire. By inspiring a culture of high performance and continuous quality improvement in teams, the post holder will ensure the sustained provision of high quality services and standards for our service users, their carers and families.
