Job summary

National Energy System Operator Limited seeks aRESP Manager for the West Midlands to lead regional energy strategic planning and build a capable RESP team. The role coordinates energy networks across fuels and geographies while aligning local projects with national energy plans.

You will manage governance, engage with local authorities and stakeholders, and drive RESP product development within NESO across the region.

Qualifications

• Team leadership experience with collaboration across teams.
• Understanding of whole system energy planning at Local Authority or network level.
• Significant stakeholder engagement with government and local authorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead on Regional Energy Strategic planning for West Midlands, aligned with RESP methodology.
• Head a RESP development team in West Midlands and contribute to GB-wide capabilities.
• Act as member of RESP management team promoting NESO culture and values.
