Job summary

ICAEW, a West End based accountancy practice, seeks a Statutory Accounts Assistant Manager or Accounts Senior with 1+ year PQE. The role concentrates on statutory accounts, tax and advisory services for a portfolio of corporate and high-net-worth clients. You will lead work, review junior staff, and act as client main contact.

The position offers hybrid working (4 days in office, 1 day from home) with flexible start/finish, and clear progression toward Manager. ACA qualification is essential.

Qualifications

• ACA qualified with at least 1 year PQE.
• Experience in statutory accounts, tax and advisory work.
• Ability to manage client portfolios and liaise with managers/partners.
• Staff supervision and review of junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of corporate and HNW clients, preparing complex statutory accounts.
• Review work and mentor junior staff, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Liaise with clients directly and provide advisory input where appropriate.
• Coordinate workflow and contribute to business development initiatives.
