We are looking for a proactive, detail‑loving Housekeeper & General Cleaner who takes pride in creating welcoming spaces for guests, students, and visitors across our unique campus near West Dean.

What you will be doing

Every day is a little different – and that’s part of the appeal. You will help keep our historic buildings and accommodation looking their absolute best by:

Cleaning and preparing guest rooms, bathrooms, and shared spaces
Polishing surfaces including marble, wood panelling, and brass fittings
Making beds, refreshing linens, and restocking supplies
Supporting internal and external cleaning across courtyards, offices, and facilities
Helping maintain signage, equipment, and cleaning stores
Working carefully around heritage features using conservation‑friendly practices
Keeping spaces safe, tidy, and welcoming for everyone on site

You will also play a key role in spotting maintenance issues early and supporting the smooth day‑to‑day running of the housekeeping operation.
