Job summary

Equal Education Partners is seeking a Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant to support learners in a Welsh-medium setting. You will work across different age groups, assisting teachers with activities and resources while prioritising safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.

Applicants must be fluent in Welsh, have experience with children, and hold an Enhanced DBS (or be willing to obtain one). UK work eligibility and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Welsh (essential).
• Experience working with children (in school or similar settings).
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willing to obtain one.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Committed to safeguarding and child welfare.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in a Welsh-medium classroom across various age groups.
• Assist with learning activities and classroom resources.
• Maintain safeguarding procedures and promote pupil wellbeing.
