Qualifications

• At least 3 months experience of working with children in schools, nurseries, or similar.
• References covering the last two years (no gaps).
• Hold a current DBS on the update service or be willing to take one out.
• The Right to Work in the UK.

Overview

We are looking for highly motivated, flexible, and committed Welsh medium teaching assistants for long and short-term assignments in Primary Schools across Llanelli.

Responsibilities

• Supporting and supervising educational games, sports, and activities
• Helping children with their literacy and numeracy
• Preparing the classroom for a lesson
• Working with pupils in small groups and/or one-to-one with children with additional needs
• Supporting teachers in managing class behaviour
• Helping children who need extra support to complete tasks
• Supervising group activities
