Welsh-Speaking Primary Teacher – Part-Time (Starting September 2025)
Location: Hengoed area, South Wales
Start Date: September 2025 (with possible transition days in July)
Contract Type: Part-Time (3 days per week), Temporary
Salary: £160-170 a day Competitive – Based on experience

Are you a fluent Welsh-speaking Primary Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity starting this September? We're recruiting on behalf of a warm, inclusive school in the Hengoed area seeking a dedicated teacher to provide cover for three days a week. Transition and handover days in July may be available for the successful candidate.

About the Role:

1. Plan and deliver creative, engaging Welsh-medium lessons.
2. Create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment.
3. Monitor pupil progress and provide differentiated support.
4. Collaborate with support staff, parents, and the wider teaching team.

What We’re Looking For:

1. Fluent Welsh speaker – Confident in delivering full lessons in Welsh
2. Experience teaching in a primary school setting (Early Years or Foundation Phase preferred)
3. Strong behaviour management and excellent communication skills
