Job summary

Meithrin is seeking a dependable assistant to join a Welsh-speaking team supporting early years. The role requires enthusiastic interaction with children and the ability to work through Welsh in a Welsh-speaking environment.

You will support the Leader to create a warm atmosphere, arrange activities indoors and outdoors, keep the space tidy, and help with developmental records. Level 2-3 EY qualifications are preferred, salary £13.10 per hour for 18 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Welsh language ability is essential for the role.
• Experience or ability to work with children.
• Able to work in a Welsh-speaking environment.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, friendly and exciting atmosphere for children.
• Plan and arrange indoor and outdoor activities.
• Care for equipment and keep the room clean after sessions.
• Support children's development during daily activities.
• Maintain developmental records and evidence of work.
