Meithrin is seeking a dependable assistant to join a Welsh-speaking team supporting early years. The role requires enthusiastic interaction with children and the ability to work through Welsh in a Welsh-speaking environment.

You will support the Leader to create a warm atmosphere, arrange activities indoors and outdoors, keep the space tidy, and help with developmental records. Level 2-3 EY qualifications are preferred, salary £13.10 per hour for 18 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Welsh language ability is essential for the role.
• Experience or ability to work with children.
• Able to work in a Welsh-speaking environment.

The Cylch Meithrin is looking for a dependable and energetic assistant who enjoys working as part of a team.

The ability to work through the medium of Welsh is essential.

We are looking for someone who is:

• enthusiastic when working with children
• can speak Welsh confidently as the Cylch is a Welsh speaking environment.

We would love someone who can:

work with the Leader to:

• ensure a warm, friendly and exciting atmosphere
• arrange the environment and offer a variety of activities indoor and outdoors
• ensure all equipment and materials are kept at the end of every session and that the room is clean
• support children in their development during the daily activities
• keep children's developmental records and evidence of work

Job details

Salary: £13.10 per hour, with the relevant qualifications

Hours: 18 hours per week

Qualification Required

Level 2 early years qualification is essential, Level 3 is desirable
