Equal Education Partners is seeking a confident and adaptable Welsh Speaking Cover Supervisor to join our team in Rhondda Cynon Taff. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to gain classroom experience, support students, and contribute to a positive learning environment. We are seeking applications from candidates who have experience of working with children preferably in a school environment. This role would also be suitable for Graduates who are considering a teaching career and who would like to gain experience of working in the education sector.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans in the absence of the class teacher
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a productive learning atmosphere
  • Support students in their learning and encourage engagement
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
  • Follow school policies and procedures, including safeguarding protocols
  • Provide feedback on lessons and student progress to teaching staff
  • Adapt to different classroom settings and subjects as needed
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with children or young people (education, coaching, mentoring, or similar)
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • A proactive and flexible approach to working in different school environments
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Registration with the EWC (or willingness to register)
