Job Description:
Are you passionate about education and fluent in Welsh? We're seeking a dedicated Welsh-speaking Cover Supervisor to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students while utilising your language skills in a supportive and dynamic environment. SET Recruitment want someone like you! You’ll take responsibility for classes in the absence of teachers, help the children develop their skills and education whilst inspiring them to achieve the best they can!

Key Responsibilities:
  • You’ll be supervising classrooms in the absence of regular teachers whilst implementing pre-set lesson plans and maintaining discipline.
  • You’ll help ensure that the students will complete the assigned tasks and stick to school policies and procedures.
  • You’ll help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel supported and encouraged in their abilities.
  • You’ll be able to use your communications skills to engage with students and create a conducive learning environment.
  • Complying with the school policies and reporting any concerns or incidents, but also helping with administrative tasks; Taking attendance, collecting homework and maintaining records.
Requirements:
  • Fluency in Welsh is essential, with the ability to communicate effectively in both Welsh and English.
  • Current DBS
  • Previous experience working with young people, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Strong organizational skills, effective prioritisation, and an ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • An ability to maintain calm under stress in a classroom.
  • A genuine passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students' lives.
Working Hours:
  • This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, following the school's operating hours.
