Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Welsh Teacher looking to inspire young learners in an English-medium setting? We are currently seeking a dedicated Welsh Language Teacher to work on a supply basis across one or more friendly, welcoming schools in the Bridgend area.

About the Role:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive Welsh language lessons to primary and/or secondary pupils.
  • Promote the use and appreciation of the Welsh language in a predominantly English-speaking environment.
  • Work flexibly in various schools across Bridgend, adapting to different school cultures and classrooms.
  • Maintain high standards of teaching and learning, ensuring pupils make progress in line with curriculum expectations.

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK is essential.
  • Fluent Welsh speaker with strong subject knowledge and confidence in teaching Welsh as a second language.
  • Experience teaching in English-medium schools preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and manage classrooms effectively.
  • Adaptable, reliable, and committed to promoting Welsh language and culture.
