The Role
  • Full classroom responsibility for a Year 5 class within a Welsh-medium school.
  • Delivering the curriculum through the medium of Welsh.
  • Creating a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Planning, preparing, and assessing work in line with curriculum guidelines.
  • Supporting pupil progress across all areas of learning.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Fluent Welsh language skills (spoken and written).
  • Recent experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 5.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A passion for Welsh language and culture in education.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one through Academics).
