Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting Welsh-Medium Level 2–3 Teaching Assistants to work in schools across Llanelli. This role requires a fluent Welsh speaker and Level 2/3 TA qualification, with Welsh-medium experience preferred. You will support learners with ALN and help deliver inclusive lessons during term-time.

Qualifications

• Fluent Welsh speaker is essential.
• Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience in Welsh-medium education is desirable.
• DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in deliveringWelsh-medium lessons and interventions.
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils.
• Assist learners with ALN and diverse needs.
• Maintain a safe, positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, teachers and the school team.
