Empowering Learning are partnering with a welcoming Welsh-medium primary school in Torfaen to recruit an enthusiastic Welsh-speaking Primary Teacher for September start.

Part-time and full-time opportunities exist, with roles running from September through Christmas and potential extension or permanent for the right candidate. Competitive daily pay and a supportive Education Consultant are provided.

Qualifications

• QTS required to teach in primary settings.
• Fluency in Welsh with the ability to teach through Welsh.
• Experience teaching in a primary school.
• Enhanced DBS registered on Update Service or willing to obtain one.
• Two professional references covering recent employment.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Welsh-medium lessons.
• Create a positive learning environment to help pupils reach their potential.
• Assess and adapt lessons to support pupil progress.
