Job summary

Elementa Wales is seeking a fluent Welsh-speaking ICT Teacher to work with schools across Torfaen. Fluency in Welsh is essential, as teaching will take place through the medium of Welsh.

The role involves planning and delivering ICT and digital learning, helping pupils of varying abilities gain knowledge and practical skills. You will hold QTS and be registered with EWC, with strong ICT knowledge and classroom management.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Welsh essential.
• QTS is required.
• Strong ICT/Computing/Digital Technology knowledge.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• EWC registration or willingness to register.
• DBS Update Service or willingness to apply for one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ICT lessons through the medium of Welsh in line with the curriculum.
• Inspire pupils to develop digital skills and confidence with technology.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Adapt teaching to meet diverse learner needs.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress.
• Work collaboratively with school staff to support pupil achievement.
