A regional healthcare provider in Cardiff is seeking a Wellbeing and Support Assistant to join the Allied Health Services Team. This part-time role (14 hours/week) is vital for supporting the Wellbeing and Support Hub, facilitating group activities, and contributing to patient care. Strong administrative skills and excellent communication abilities are essential. Benefits include 25 days of annual leave and comprehensive training programs.
Were looking for a Wellbeing and Support Assistant to join our Allied Health Services Team at the Cardiff and the Vale Hospice. This is a varied and rewarding role supporting the day-to-day running of the Wellbeing and Support Hub (WaSH), where youll liaise with patients, carers, volunteers, and external partners to ensure smooth delivery of activities and workshops. Youll also help facilitate group sessions and maintain accurate records and appointment systems, contributing to the overall wellbeing of those we support.
Youll work closely with the Activities Coordinator and the wider multi-disciplinary team, playing a key part in delivering compassionate, person-centred care. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong admin skills and a passion for supporting others in a healthcare environment.
The care and support we provide is highly valued by the people we care for and their loved ones, but at present we are only reaching around 10% of dying people at the end of life. Right now, one in four people in the UK with a terminal illness, do not get the care or support they deserve at the end of their lives.

Contract: Permanent, Part-Time 14 hours per week Thursdays and Fridays
