NHS is seeking a passionate Wellbeing Practitioner to deliver mental health interventions for young people in Bromley. This role involves managing a caseload, collaborating with schools, and facilitating workshops. Candidates should have relevant qualifications and a commitment to supporting children's mental health through professional practice.
This is an opportunity to join a passionate, creative MHST with excellent school engagement, placed within a third-sector service that prioritizes young people and families (parents and carers). Our base is in central Bromley, and we come together in the office one day per week to ensure everyone feels connected and supported with their work and wellbeing.
The Wellbeing Practitioner role is diverse, involving delivering evidence-based interventions for mild to moderate mental health difficulties, liaising with schools and partner agencies, and facilitating psychoeducational events. You will manage your own caseload and act as the Bromley Y link for primary and secondary schools, providing consultation, signposting, and support development of Whole School Approaches to mental health tailored to each school's needs.
The ideal candidate will be hardworking, enthusiastic, and flexible, with the ability to work creatively with young people, parents/carers, and school staff. Collaboration and idea-sharing should come naturally, and you should be eager to develop your professional skills. Occasional Saturday work may be required.

Our MHSTs are well-established and work across Bromley borough to support schools with evidence-based interventions, whole school approaches, and timely advice to staff and external services.
