A community support organization in Edinburgh is seeking a Wellbeing Practitioner to assist a client with living independently. The role ensures support for social activities and personal interests, requiring applicants to have an EU/UK driving license. Competence in technology and a commitment to learning are vital. Applicants should have, or be willing to work towards, a qualification meeting the standards required for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
Please note that an EU/UK driving license is essential for this position.
We have a vacancy for a Wellbeing Practitioner to join a team supporting a man living independently in his own home in the Craigmillar area, with his pet cat.
This position is for 18 hours per week. The hours will be scheduled on a rota basis, with shifts decided and agreed upon by the team. Sleepovers are available.

• Salary: From 1st April 2025, starting at £12.60 per hour (£25,552 per annum FTE), rising to £13.52 per hour (£27,418 FTE).
• Fantastic training (on full pay): including in-person-centred practice, leadership skills, IT, and other bespoke courses.
• SSSC registration paid for by Thistle.
• Support to achieve SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
• Support through regular team meetings, with Lead Practitioners or Coaches.
