Deliver Meaningful Life Programs to our residents! Leadership role offering Full time hours, working Monday - Friday. Located in Sandringham.

About the role:

  • Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
  • Lead the Meaningful Life program in the Care Community
  • Develop opportunities for meaningful engagement, purposeful participation, social events and activities for all residents
  • Drive Opal HealthCare initiatives including Meaningful Mates and Helping Hands
  • Curate programs to support residents’ physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing and overall quality of life
  • Develop resident care plans and complete key lifestyle assessments
  • Work together with clinical teams and allied health professions provide a tailored approach for each resident to aid their mobility and independence
  • Coach care team members to deliver meaningful engagements between like-minded residents
  • Liaise with residents to develop activities and engagements that meet their cultural, spiritual, social and physical needs and preferences
  • Engage with residents’ families to encourage visitation and socialisation
  • Demonstrate Person Centred Care principles approach
