Job summary

Barchester is seeking an Activities Coordinator in a care home to create a stimulating daily routine for residents, devising imaginative activities that maximise wellbeing, independence and social engagement.

You'll be warm and empathetic with strong planning and people skills, and you will receive training to develop your skills and progress within the organisation, supporting residents and their families in a caring environment.

Qualifications

• Warm, empathetic and personable approach.
• Excellent planning and people skills.
• Previous care or activities experience is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Help create a stimulating activities programme tailored to residents' interests and abilities.
• Lead imaginative, fun and motivational activities within the home and with the local community.
