Job summary

Aberdeen City Council is seeking an experienced and fully registered teacher to join our peripatetic service. You will deliver personalised education to pupils from P1 to S6, travelling across Aberdeen City to work in schools, community venues and outdoor settings.

The role requires full GTC Scotland registration and PVG membership; the post holder must hold an appropriate teaching qualification. We support flexible working arrangements and promote equality, diversity and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Appropriate teaching qualification.
• Full GTC (Scotland) registration in the appropriate subject/sector, or be eligible for such registration.
• PVG scheme membership – Working with Children

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality education to assigned pupils and contribute to the professional, corporate life of the school in relation to pupils, staff and external bodies within the SNCT.
