Location: Moat House Care Home, Great Easton, Great Dunmow, Essex CM6 2DL

Wellbeing Coordinator Part Time - required for our new luxury care home ‘The Moat House' located in Great Easton near Great Dunmow, Essex. We are no longer accepting overseas applications for sponsorship.

Hours: 24 Hours per week, working weekends on rota.

Moat House Care Home is in Great Easton near Great Dunmow, Essex. The sixty-bed home has been completely refurbished and will include six well-appointed suites, promoting a lifestyle for residents that offers a luxurious environment with exceptional personalised care. Together with round-the-clock hospitality and a daily fine-dining menu, our home will be a wonderful addition to the local community.

We are looking for an Activities Coordinator with creative flair and out-of-the-box thinking to organise, run events and activities for our residents. From pumpkin-carving, to gardening, crafts and more - no two days will ever be the same as you support our residents to try new things and ensure they feel connected with the wider community.

What you will be doing:
  • Organise varied activities within the Home to cater for a variety of interests and life stories for individuals, small groups and large numbers of residents.
  • Meet targets set out to improve our resident’s lives, including getting to know every resident through our 'Resident of the Day’ programme.
  • Work together with local community groups and the wider local area.
  • Bring fun, ideas, and energy into our residents’ lives!
  • Inspire others through relationships, to deliver a range of wellbeing ideas.
  • Coordinate a wide range of trips & experiences within the local area for small groups & individuals.
  • Arrange key events throughout the year, such as seasonal celebrations & charity events.
About You:
  • Friendly, welcoming, and entertaining, ensuring all activities are appropriate for all residents.
  • An understanding of the care sector would be advantageous.
  • Have a friendly & caring attitude.
  • Good planning & development skills.
  • Able to engage well with residents and their families.
  • Proactive, passionate, and a supportive team player, with experience maintaining high customer service levels.
  • Access to your own vehicle with business insurance is essential for outings and networking.
