Wellbeing Coordinator

£16.90 LTD / £14.41 PAYE (inc hol)

A local authority in Solihull require a Wellbeing Co-ordinator to support their Wellbeing Team in coordinating referrals, scheduling work, and maintaining accurate records to enhance the independence of older and vulnerable individuals in the community.

THE ROLE

The Wellbeing Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring the efficient delivery of wellbeing services, supporting service users to remain independent in their homes.

  1. Coordinate and allocate referrals to the appropriate services
  2. Organise work schedules for the Wellbeing Team
  3. Maintain and update administrative records and databases
  4. Liaise with statutory, voluntary, and third-sector organisations
  5. Identify appropriate interventions, including assistive technology and telecare
  6. Provide information, advice, and signposting to relevant services
  7. Support the delivery of practical services such as Home Hazard Assessments and Handyperson services
THE CANDIDATE

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, working with vulnerable people in a social housing or care sector setting.

  1. NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Housing, Health and Social Care, or equivalent experience
  2. Experience in coordinating referrals and service allocations
  3. Strong written and verbal communication skills
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
THE CONTRACT
  1. 35 Hours, Monday to Friday
  2. 9-Month Contract
  3. The pay for the role is £16.90 per hour LTD company rate. The PAYE equivalent is £14.41 per hour, inclusive of holiday.
