Job summary

Signature Senior Lifestyle is seeking a Wellbeing and Lifestyle Assistant at Signature at Bentley House in Hertford. The role focuses on designing engaging daily activities to enhance residents’ physical, social, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing, while supporting a vibrant community in a luxury care setting.

You will co-create schedules, contribute to special events, and report on resident engagement to help maintain a high standard of care.

Qualifications

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• IT skills and familiarity with basic software.
• Level 2 (QCF) Supporting Activities Provision in Social Care is advantageous.
• A full, clean driving licence is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage a packed daily schedule for residents.
• Organise key events and activities (e.g., Summer Fete) to enhance wellbeing.
• Provide activity reports and feedback to the General Manager.
• Work across departments including Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Wellbeing & Lifestyle.

Your Role at Signature

From floristry to folk music, as Wellbeing and Lifestyle Assistant, you’ll bring a wealth of ideas to improve and maintain our residents’ wellbeing. You’ll producea packed daily schedule that caters to residents’ physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs. You’ll also organise key events throughout the year such asour Summer Fete.

You’ll be considerate of the diverse needs of individuals in a group situation, and aware of everyone’s personal care needs. Meaningful activities enhance our residents quality of life and that is why it is important to understand their likes and dislikes. You’ll also gain regular feedback from residents and provide activity reports to the General Manager.

Internally, this role is called Hospitality Assistant, if you are successful this will be your job title. You will be required to work across a range of departments including Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and Wellbeing & Lifestyle. Responsibilities will vary on each shift depending on which department you are supporting.
