This role is for a Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator at Avery Healthcare, a leading provider of luxury elderly care homes in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering a range of engaging activities and events to promote the physical, psychological, and social well-being of the residents. They will work closely with the residents, their families, and the care team to ensure a high-quality, person-centered approach to care.
As the Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator, your focus will be to provide a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the residents' physical, psychological, and social well-being, while also promoting the philosophy of privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights, and fulfilment for all residents. Other responsibilities will include identifying the life history and preferences of residents, planning and submitting monthly activity and wellbeing plans, arranging activities and events, and maintaining a safe and positive environment.
