Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator, Newmarket

Our Magic Moments programme encourages all-round wellbeing with a range of vibrant interactions to stimulate the Mind, Body, and Soul. The Magic Moments team plays a key role in helping our residents lead fulfilling lives, ensuring their interests and needs are met while accommodating varying levels of physical and mental ability. As a Coordinator, you will spend time getting to know residents and their families to create personalised activities focused on boosting wellbeing, independence, and social engagement.

Your responsibilities as a Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator include:

  • Inspiring and motivating residents to participate in meaningful engagements
  • Assessing residents' needs through meetings with them, team members, and family
  • Building relationships to gather life story information and develop care plans and activities accordingly
  • Creating personalised activities that reflect residents' interests and hobbies
  • Supporting residents with activities that meet their individual needs, including music, exercise, and arts & crafts
  • Being creative in developing new activities beyond the typical programme
  • Developing community links with local groups and arranging trips and excursions
  • Supporting the rollout of the Magic Moments initiatives and encouraging team involvement
  • Completing activity documentation via digital and written methods
