Overview

The Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator focuses on providing a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate residents' physical, psychological, and social well-being, while upholding privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights, and fulfillment for all residents. This role involves understanding residents' life histories and preferences, planning monthly activity and wellbeing plans, arranging activities and events, and maintaining a safe living and working environment.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator will be to provide a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate residents' physical, psychological, and social well-being and to promote the philosophy of privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights, and fulfilment for all residents.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying the life history, needs, and preferences of residents by listening to them and their families to support the development of a detailed life story.
  • Planning and submitting to the Home Manager a monthly activity and wellbeing plan and a weekly overview.
  • Arranging activities, events, and outings, encouraging the involvement of staff, relatives, and visitors.
  • Maintaining a safe living and working environment, contributing to the positive and professional image of the home.
