We have an amazing opportunity for a creative, passionate, and dedicated individual to join our wonderful Care Home team and become part of our TLC family.

Our approach to specialised nursing and care is, we believe, second to none, with highly-trained carers and nurses on hand 24 hours a day to provide assistance to meet the needs and wishes of each individual resident.

As a Wellbeing and Activities Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for supporting our residents to express their individual interests, and assist the wellbeing lead in planning, designing, organising, and delivering engaging, person-centred activities and lifestyle opportunities that enable our residents’ wishes to come true.

You will create a stimulating environment that promotes lifestyle choices, happiness, development, fun, and team engagement in accordance with our TLC values.

We are looking for an outgoing individual who strives to make a difference every day in the lives of our residents and supports a one-team approach, working in partnership with team members, residents, and relatives.

You will support the Leadership Team on our journey to outstanding.

Requirements

  • Ideally having worked previously in a similar role, with experience supporting and organising programmes of events or activities, and possessing great organisational skills, listening skills, and good written, non-verbal, and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of core Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • The position may appeal to applicants with an occupational therapy background.
  • Professional appearance, attention to detail, ability to work on own initiative, and work independently.
