Lovett Care Limited is seeking a kind, organised and fun Wellbeing Coordinator to join Fairfax Manor Care Home in Harrogate. The role delivers and supports activities for residents, creating engaging programmes and coordinating staff to provide stimulating daily life.

The 37.5-hour contract offers an hourly rate of £14.25, with shifts 0900-1700, five days a week and alternate weekend work. Flexibility is required to meet the home's needs.

Formación

• Experience of working with older people is essential.
• Experience of delivering an activity programme is essential.
• Ability to assess, plan and evaluate activity needs of older people.
• Ability to work individually and in a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate the ability to prioritise and handle emergency situations effectively.
• Be creative, imaginative and enthusiastic and have the ability to forward plan.

Responsabilidades

• Create ongoing weekly activity programmes that ensure a wide range of opportunities are available to stimulate the physical, mental and emotional wellbeing of all residents.
• Provide an innovative programme so that residents can achieve extraordinary things within their capabilities.
• Coordinate staff to deliver activities, based on their personal skills and interests.
• Ensure a life story and Wellbeing and Activity plan is in place for each resident and that the plan is regularly reviewed.
• Ensure adequate and up to date risk assessments are in place for all events and activities planned and undertaken.
• Provide supervision and coaching of the Wellbeing Assistant.
• Understand the needs of people with the various conditions residents have in the home.
• Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of adults that the post holder is responsible for or comes into contact with.
